Alan Dowson (born 17 June 1970) is an English football manager and former professional player who has been manager of non-league club Hampton & Richmond Borough since September 2014.[1] Prior to this, Dowson spent seven years as manager of neighbours Kingstonian before tendering his resignation.
Career
Born in Gateshead, Dowson played as a left back. He made 55 appearances in the Football League for Millwall, Fulham, Bradford City and Darlington.[2] He also played non-league football for Slough Town, Gateshead and Walton & Hersham.[3] He later managed non-league clubs Walton & Hersham, Kingstonian and is now boss at Hampton & Richmond Borough.[4]
