Alan Gooch is an American college football coach and sports executive. He is currently the Executive Director of the Orlando Sports Foundation. Gooch served briefly as the head football coach of the University of Central Florida in 2003. Gooch coached the final two games of the 2003 season against Marshall and Miami University, after the dismissal of Mike Kruczek. He previously served as the assistant head coach from 1998 to 2003. While the assistant head coach, he had future-Auburn head coach Gene Chizik on his staff from 1998 to 2001.[1]
