Alan Mahon is a judge of the Court of Appeal.
He was educated at Clongowes Wood College, University College Dublin and the King's Inns.[1] He was called to the Bar in 1976, and to the Inner Bar in 1988.
He was appointed as a judge of the Circuit Court in April 2002. He was appointed as a judge of the Tribunal of Inquiry into Certain Planning Matters and Payments in September 2002 and appointed chairman of the tribunal in July 2003. In October 2014, he became a judge of the Court of Appeal.[2]
