Personal life

Shirahama was born to a Japanese father and a Filipina mother.[3] He has an elder sister, Loveli, who is a fashion model and television personality.[4] In January 2013, the tabloid press reported that the idol singer and AKB48 member Minami Minegishi had spent the night at Shirahama's apartment.[5][6] After she shaved her head in penance for the scandal, the incident was reported widely even in the foreign media.[7][8][9] Shirahama ended up apologizing for the incident.[10]
