Albino Gomes (born 7 February 1994) is an Indian professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Mumbai City FC in the Indian Super League on loan from Salgaocar of the I-League.

Career

Salgaocar

Born in Goa, Gomes was promoted to the Salgaocar first-team in before the 2012–13 season. He appeared on the bench for the first-team on 9 February 2013 in an I-League match against Shillong Lajong.[1]

Mumbai City

On 10 July 2015, during the 2015 Indian Super League draft, Gomes was selected by Mumbai City with the final pick in the draft.[2] He made his professional debut for the club during their opening game of the season against Pune City on 5 October 2015. He started and played the whole match but conceded three goals as Mumbai City fell 3–1.[3]

International

Despite not making his professional debut at this point, Gomes was selected by Stephen Constantine for the India U23 side that would take part in the 2016 AFC U23 qualifiers.[4]
