Aldona Jonaitis

Aldona Jonaitis is the director of the University of Alaska Museum of the North, a professor of anthropology at the University of Alaska Fairbanks, and an author who has published widely on Native American art.

From 1975 to 1989, Jonaitis was a faculty member and administrator at the State University at Stony Brook.[1] Then from 1989 to 1993 she was the vice president for public programs at the American Museum of Natural History. Since then she has been in her current position as the director of the University of Alaska Museum of the North in Fairbanks, Alaska.[2]
