Aleksa Simić
Aleksa Simić (March 18, 1800, Boljevci – March 17, 1872, Belgrade) was a Serbian politician and one of strongest of the Ustavobranioci (Defenders of the Constitution).
He came to the Principality of Serbia from Srem in 1819. He hired as a scribe in the office of Prince Milos Obrenovic. In 1835, Simić becomes the Minister of Finance, and in 1843 he becomes the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Principality of Serbia.
His brother was Stojan Simić, politician and businessman, and his nephew Đorđe Simić, Prime Minister of Serbia.
