Aleksandr Nikiforovich Aksyonov (Russian: Александр Никифорович Аксёнов, Belarusian: Аляксандр Аксёнаў, Aleksandr Aksionau) (October 9, 1924 – September 8, 2009) was a Soviet politician and diplomat from Belarus. Aksyonov served as the Prime Minister of the Byelorussian Soviet Socialist Republic from December 11, 1978, until July 8, 1983.[1] He later became the Soviet Ambassador to Poland from 1983 until 1986.[1]

Aleksandr Aksyonov died on September 8, 2009, at the age of 85.[1]
