Alessandra Bange-Hall

Alessandra Bange-Hall (born September 1, 1986 in Lake Luzerne-Hadley, New York) is a nationally ranked competitive snowshoer in the United States.[1]

Biography

Alessandra was born to Clare Bange-Hall and James Hall. Her father works for the College of Saint Rose in Albany, NY and her mother is a High School art teacher at Corinth Central School District, Alessandra's alma mater. While attending Corinth High School in Corinth, New York, Bange-Hall began snowshoeing for the Corinth Snowshoe Association ( coached by Richard Eggleston)This led to competition both locally and statewide at the Empire State Games . Alessandra has won gold, silver and bronze medals in sprints (100m, 200m,400m) at the Empire State Games . In 2005 she began running distance races including the 5k and 10k, where she has been extremely successful at the local and national level. In August 2006, Alessandra was made a member of the Atlas Snowshoe Racing Team.

Alessandra attends St. Lawrence University in Canton, NY. She is an Augsbury Scholar, majoring in Economics. Alessandra is a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority, and a former member of the St. Lawrence Cross Country and Track and Field Programs.
