Alexandra ("Alex") Mary L. Danson (born 21 May 1985) is an English field hockey forward, who has been a member of the England and Great Britain women's field hockey team since making her England debut in October 2001 against Germany. Currently playing for Reading Hockey Club, Danson's former clubs include Klein Zwitserland, Trojans Hockey Club and Alton. She attended the independent Roman Catholic Farnborough Hill School. Danson won a bronze medal at the 2012 Olympic Games.[8]
