Alexander, Hereditary Prince of Hohenzollern (German: Alexander Friedrich Antonius Johannes Prinz von Hohenzollern;[1] born 16 March 1987, New York City[1]) is a member of the Princely House of Hohenzollern.[1] Alexander is the eldest son of Karl Friedrich, Prince of Hohenzollern and Countess Alexandra Schenck von Stauffenberg, who divorced in 2010. He is the heir apparent to the headship of the princely house.[1]

Education

Alexander attended Oakham School in England, but left after taking his GCSEs. He attended Malvern College for a short period of time before leaving to continue his studies in the Institut auf dem Rosenberg. After spending time in Tibet, he started to train in extreme mixed martial arts. He also joined the German youth organisation "Junge Union" in 2010. After a long journey through Indonesia, he decided to campaign for the organization Rettet den Regenwald.

According to the 1884 Law Statute of the Royal House of Romania, his father is the main candidate for the defunct throne. However, in a 2009 interview, Karl Friedrich, then Hereditary Prince of Hohenzollern, stated that he was not interested in the Romanian throne,[2] thus leaving the succession open to him.

Alexander is now attending Hult International Business School, and in the same group with Yana Mayzenger, Emiliette Morales, Tania Biral, Francisco Burgos and Orens Mohn. He never attends group meetings due to his crown duties. Alexander is on the dean's list for Hult International Business School in London campus. He shows a sharp and smart intellect.
