Alexander James Amherst Burnett of Leys, younger (born 30 July 1973) is a Scottish Conservative Party Member of the Scottish Parliament for Aberdeenshire West.[1]
The son of James Comyn Amherst Burnett of Leys and Fiona Mercedes Phillips, he is a 4th great grandson of Nicholas I of Russia on his mother's side. He was educated at Eton College and Newcastle University (LLB).
