Alex Geringas (born March 2, 1971 in Moscow) is a record producer, songwriter and composer based in Los Angeles, USA.

Biography

Alexander Geringas, also credited as Alex Geringas or Alex G, is an Emmy-nominated (2015) and Grammy (2013), BMI Pop (2013, 2014) and ECHO- (German Grammy 1998, 2003) winning Songwriter and Composer from Russia, living in Los Angeles. He had 15 #1 records and scored the most successful Family Entertainment Trilogy (Hanni & Nanni 1-3) in Germany before he relocated to LA. His adeptness for a multitude of genres, sense for comedy, and blending indie and modern electronic dance music with traditional film scoring has put him on the map.Recent clients include: DreamWorks Animation Film, DreamWorks Animation TV, Netflix, CBS, Universal Pictures, Hallmark Pictures, Endemol US/ABC, Warner Brothers Film Germany. He wrote and/or produced songs for/with Artists like Kelly Clarkson, Anastacia, Leona Lewis, Jessica Sutta (ex Pussycat Dolls) among many others and released with his Artist Project "Blaze n Vill" their first Single "Who's da King" (Theme Song of the DWA/Netflix Show All Hail King Julien. Accompanying the DreamWorks Movie "The Penguins of Madagascar" Alex produced and cowrote with Mike Himelstein their Christmas Album. 2015 he scored the Warner Bros. Germany Movie "Ich bin dann mal weg" (I'm off then) after the bestseller of Star-Comedian Hape Kerkeling which became one of the most sucessful movies in Germany. 2016 Alex is scoring the DreamWorks Animation TV / Netflix Show "Home: Adventures with Tip & Oh" and his Themes for "Voltron" (DWA/Netflix) and "Word Party" (Henson/Netflix) will be released.
