Alexander Gilkes
Alexander Gilkes (born 16 July 1979) is the co-founder of Paddle8, an online auction house specializing in fine art and collectibles, founded in 2011.[1][2] Born in the UK, Gilkes was educated at Eton College. He was one of the youngest executives in the history of LVMH, prior to joining the auction house Phillips de Pury. At Phillips, he oversaw marketing and served as an auctioneer.
Gilkes has been based in New York since 2008.[3]
