Alexandra Dock railway station was a station located on the Alexandra Dock Branch, in Liverpool, England. The station served Alexandra Dock until it closed to passengers on 31 May 1948.[1]

History

Opened by the London and North Western Railway, it became part of the London, Midland and Scottish Railway during the Grouping of 1923. Passing on to the London Midland Region of British Railways on nationalisation in 1948, it was then closed by the British Railways Board.

The site today

The buildings have gone but the track still serves the docks; there is a loop on the former site of the station.
