Alexandra "Ra" or "Lexie" Dreyfus (born April 7, 1986[1]) is an American director, photographer, writer, actress, singer, and video blogger. She is best known for her work photographing celebrities, portraying Sarah Genatiempo in the Internet series lonelygirl15 and its spinoff LG15: The Resistance.

Career

Alexandra Dreyfus was born in sunny Los Angeles, and as a young professional was thrown straight into the Hollywood mixer appearing in soap opera’s, commercials and as the face of Mattel, Barbie boxes everywhere. She went to UCSB to study psychology but at the age of 19 moved to Germany to spend time developing her eye under a high profile Vogue photographer.

Back to LA she flew, working in production for Bully Pictures and Bullrun car rallies, where she became an expert on maximizing minimal budgets, fabrication for sets, casting, working with and hiring the right crew, time management on set, and pitching to major networks. Alexandra then went on to star in the cult phenomenon, Lonelygirl15 –

This one show led to a successful acting career allowing her to live in London where she also penned an opinion column for British magazine Dapper and effectively had an English accent for two years. We all make choices. She then went home to LA and was offered a job as a PR manager and head-writer for the world's leading adult entertainment company Digital Playground, earning a Best Picture AVN Nomination for her script, Assassins.

After a while she decided it was time for a change and went to work for Paris Hilton. She spent about one night in Paris before deciding to move to NYC to pursue the idea of becoming an orthodox Jew and developed a name for herself as fine art photographer, Ra Dreyfus.

A year later the orthodox part wasn’t for her, and so she remains, Jew-ish.

Alexandra recently worked with the worlds largest experiential marketing company, NCompasss International, working directly under the CEO and President. Alexandra was involved in the development and production of events for blue chip clients such as Activision, CAA and Best Buy, and shows for artists including Alicia Keys, Lady Gaga, Kanye West, and Joseph Arthur.

Alexandra is a producer, writer, director, photographer and lover of unicorns who has been involved with multiple productions on various scales. She has extensive experience in concept development and pitching to networks, and is currently working on her first animated comedy ‘Jesse’ with ACME Animations company and Director John Dilworth. Two piece from her fine art exhibition 'Demons' was currently featured in the Louvre in Paris.
