Alexandru Hrisanide

Alexandru Hrisanide (born 15 June 1936 in Petrila) is a Romanian pianist and composer.[1] His compositions include the Inventionen-Volumen for cello and a sonata for clarinet and piano. His compositional style is noted for its use of folk melodies in serialism. He won the Lili Boulanger Foundation Prize in 1965.[2]
