Alfred Tinkler (1887–1950) was an English professional footballer who played as a centre half. He made more than 100 appearances in all competitions for Second Division club Birmingham over four years. Tinkler was born in Manchester and died in Croydon, Surrey.[1] He also played in the Football League for Derby County,[2] and in non-League football for Ilkeston United, in two spells,[1][3] and Heanor United.[1]
