Alfred C. Cerullo III

Alfred C. Cerullo III (born 16 December 1961) was the commissioner of the New York City Department of Consumer Affairs who became the Commissioner of the New York City Department of Finance in 1995.[1]

Biography

He was born on 16 December 1961 in Brooklyn to Alfred C. Cerullo II. He was raised on Staten Island in New York City.[1]

He attended St. John's University and St. John's University School of Law. In 1990 he was elected to the New York City Council as the only seated Republican which made him the minority leader. He left that position to become the head of the New York City Department of Consumer Affairs in 1994 and in 1995 was appointed to head the New York City Department of Finance.[1]
