Joseph Alfred Duncan (born 10 March 1993) is a Ghanaian footballer who plays for Sassuolo, as a midfielder.
Career
Internazionale
Duncan trained with Internazionale since summer 2010. However, due to FIFA regulation, he formally joined Inter in March 2011, after his 18th birthday.[1] He lives in Inter training centre "Centro Sportivo Giacinto Facchetti" in Milan.[1] Duncan made his Serie A debut for Inter on August 26, 2012 in a match against Pescara when he came on as a substitute in the 86th minute for teammate Walter Gargano.[2]
Sampdoria
On 19 July 2014, Inter agreed to loan Duncan to the fellow Serie A side Sampdoria for two seasons, until 30 June 2016.[3] The club bought Duncan outright for €2.890 million in January 2015.[4] He signed a 4½ year contract.[5]
Sassuolo
On 23 July 2015 Duncan was signed by Sassuolo in a temporary deal, with an obligation to sign him outright at the end of season from Sampdoria.[6] On 6 March 2016, Duncan scored a thunderbolt goal against A.C. Milan in a 2-0 win.
International career
Duncan represented Ghana at the 2013 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Turkey playing four games during it. He made his full international debut on 14 November 2012 against Cape Verde.
