Alfred Emil Wenz (1 December 1919 – 19 September 1944) was a highly decorated Oberleutnant in the Wehrmacht during World War II. He was also a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. Alfred Wenz was killed on 19 September 1944 in Bauska, Latvia. He was posthumously awarded the Knight's Cross on 21 September 1944.
