Alfredo Bosi

Alfredo Bosi (São Paulo, August 23, 1936) is a Brazilian historian, literary critic,[1] and professor. He is member of the Academia Brasileira de Letras (the Brazilian Academy of Letters). One of his most famous books in Brazil is the "História Concisa da Literatura Brasileira", used in many universities along the years. He also wrote studies about Italian literature and about famous Brazilian writers like Machado de Assis.
