Commodore Ali Fadavi is commander of Navy of the Army of the Guardians of the Islamic Revolution and appointed by major general Hassan Firouzabadi on 2011.
On February 2016, Fadavi along with another commander of the Army of the Guardians of the Islamic Revolution won Fath medal for arrest two United States Navy riverine command boats on January 12, 2016 in Persian Gulf. Therefore, Iranian supreme leader, Ali Khamenei, gave them Fath medal.
