Alison Chapman has over 40 years’ experience and expertise in Jewellery, Antiques, Objet d’art, Ceramics and Art.
Alison gives motivational talks and after diners speeches,[4] even giving talks on P&O Cruises.
Alison mentors other businesses and volunteers at the Romney Hythe & Dymchurch railway.

She is married to Danny Martin who is a director and general manager Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway,
In 2014 her shop Owlets in Hythe was broken into and various items stolen.[5]
