Alje Schut (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈɑljə ˈsxɵt]; born February 18, 1981) is a Dutch football defender who currently plays for Kozakken Boys in the Dutch Topklasse.[1] He formerly played thirteen seasons for FC Utrecht in the Dutch highest league, the Eredivisie and three seasons for Mamelodi Sundowns, which he captained from 2013 to 2015.
Schut represented the Netherlands at the 2001 FIFA World Youth Championship.
