Dimitrios "Dimitris" Alkis (Greek: Δημήτρης Άλκης; born 23 July 1980) is a professional footballer who plays as a defender for Platanias F.C. in the Football League.
Career
Born in Sarandë, Alkis' family moved to Heraklion, Crete where he began playing football with Ergotelis F.C. in the Delta Ethniki.[1] He helped Ergotelis win successive promotions until the club reached Superleague Greece for the 2004–05 season.
