Synopsis

While out on parole, Dennis (Giamatti) reluctantly takes a job selling Christmas trees with his old buddy Rene (Rudd) in order to make enough money to buy his estranged daughter the piano she's always wanted. The antics of the 2 leads have been suggested to be based on the amalgamation of famous mis-adventures of employees from North Pole Xmas Trees. North Pole Xmas Trees is a famous family Christmas Tree business from Nashua NH.
