Allan Whitwell (born May 5, 1954 in York, North Yorkshire) is a former Olympic rower from England. He was a member of the silver medal-winning British coxed rowing eights at the 1980 Moscow Olympics. In 1986, he was in the World Championship winning Lightweight Double Sculls with Carl Smith.
Currently running an International Sculling Camp (www.pennesculling.com) for scullers of any level from Novice to International.
He also teaches at a school for children with special needs.
