Allen Cadwallader

Allen Clayton Cadwallader is an American music theorist notable for his writings on tonal analysis, often alongside David Gagne. Cadwallader's most influential theoretical work centers on the teaching of Schenkerian analysis.[1] His written works have appeared in Music Theory Spectrum, Music Analysis, Integral, Theory and Practice, and Journal of Music Theory. He currently is Professor of Music Theory at Oberlin Conservatory and previously lecturer at SUNY Binghamton.[2]
