Allen Kenji Ono (born December 31, 1933) is a retired lieutenant general in the United States Army. He was Deputy Chief of Staff for Personnel at US Army Headquarters from 1986 to 1990.[1] Ono was the first Japanese American Lieutenant General;[2][3][4] and first Asian American Lieutenant General.[5][6]
