Alliance for Change and Transparency (ACT) is a political party in Tanzania.[4] It received its permanent registration in May 2014.[5]

Background

The party was founded in 2014.

It intends to reintroduce some of the principles of Ujamaa. Opposition MP Zitto Kabwe formally joined the party in March 2015 following his expulsion from Chadema.[2]

Elections

2015

It plans to attain at least 10 constituencies and gather 15 percent of the total vote in the forthcoming election.[2]
