Allied Publishers is an Indian-based academic and literary publishing house, established in 1934 by M. Graham Brash, the Company was acquired by the late Mr. R.N.Sachdev, founder Chairman of Allied Publishers in 1947. A wholly Indian management publishing company which operates from Mumbai and New Delhi. Its directors are Sunil Sachdev, Ravi Sachdev in New Delhi, and Arjun Sachdev in Mumbai.[1][2][3]

Overview

Allied publishes academic (text books and reference books) books for schools, colleges and higher academic institutes. It also promote Indian publications abroad as leading Exporters, through the Allied's Export Division in New Delhi .

Perhaps it is Indian publishing venture and it also imports books on a wide variety of subjects by universities, colleges and other institutions for development of their libraries, and to impart better knowledge is being fulfilled by Allied by the representation of nearly 100 prestigious publishers from US, UK and the continent, Japan and South-East Asia.

It has so far published Indian writers and poets .It has brought out collections of Keki N. Daruwalla, Arundhathi Subramaniam, Prabhanjan Mishra, Jerry Pinto, Vihang A. Naik, Sheila Gujral among other literary and critical texts.
