Allqaqucha (Quechua allqa black-and-white qucha lake,[1] "black-and-white lake", hispanicized spelling Alcacocha) is a lake in Peru located in the Junín Region, Junín Province, Junín District.[2][3] It is situated at a height of about 4,359 metres (14,301 ft), about 3.16 km long and 0.74 km at its widest point. Allqaqucha lies east of the lake Chinchayqucha and south-west of the smaller lake Yanaqucha.
