Alois Assmann
Alois Assmann (3 June 1913 – 26 October 1987) was a German Unteroffizier in the Wehrmacht during World War II. Assmann was born on the 3 June 1913 in the Buschenitz/Lower Silesia. As corporal and gunner in the 1st company of the 61st tank destroyer detachment, the 11th Panzer Division, he received the Knight's cross on the 18 September 1942. Assmann died on the 26 October 1987 in Loxstedt in Bremerhaven.
