AlphaPoint Corporation is a SaaS company based in the United States, which provides both a full stack white label digital currency exchange platform, as well as a variety of back end solutions for institutions and startups.[1][2]

AlphaPoint was founded in 2013 by Joe Ventura and Jack Sallen. The company is headquartered in New York City, with offices in Philadelphia and San Francisco. Joe Ventura is a veteran in software architecture who, before founding AlphaPoint, designed and implemented complex low-latency software systems for Deutsche Bank, UBS, Merrill Lynch, and other financial institutions. Both he and co-founder Jack Sallen worked extensively on Photon Trader, a futures and options trading platform connecting to Chicago Mercantile Exchange, Chicago Board of Trade, NYMEX, Eurex, Liffe, and BATS Global Markets.[3]

Clients

The company provides its services to over 20 digital currency exchanges, including Bitfinex, which handles approximately 30% of all Bitcoin/USD trading. The platform currently supports all popular digital currencies, and integrates with third party exchanges, banks, identity verifiers, and legal solutions.[4][5]

Features

The platform is capable of handling 1 million trades per second [6] and provides industry-standard APIs (Binary and FIX (Financial Information eXchange)), Tier 3 hosting, 20+ order types, and advanced features for backend reporting, administrator control, and risk management.
