Alphabet Prison is the last studio album by French nu metal band Pleymo. Released on October 9, 2006,[1] the album combined elements from the aggressive aspects of the band's first two albums, and the more melodic songwriting found on their previous album, Rock.[2]
Musical style
With the recording of Alphabet Prison, Pleymo sought to combine the musical styles that the band is best known for; the aggressive style of their 1999 debut Keçkispasse and 2002 follow-up, Episode 2: Medecine Cake, as well as the more melodic songwriting which the band explored on their 2003 album Rock.[2]
Reception
Allmusic did not review the album, but noted it favorably in its biography of the band, calling Alphabet Prison "the most well-rounded effort by the band yet."[2]
