The Men's Downhill competition of the Lillehammer 1994 Olympics was held at Kvitfjell. [1]

The defending world champion was Luc Alphand of France, while Franz Heinzer was the defending World Cup downhill champion and Marc Girardelli led the World Cup [2][3]
