Altun Kupri or Altun Kopru (Turkmen: Altınköprü, Arabic: ألتن كوبري, meaning "Golden Bridge"[3]) is a town north of Kirkuk in Kirkuk Governorate. Its population of approximately 9,275 is predominately Turkmen.[4] It is located on the shores of the Little Zab river's Dibis Lake, near the Dibis Dam.
