Alveston is a village in Warwickshire, England, about 3 miles from Stratford-upon-Avon(where population details can be found).

Hemingford House, the youth hostel for Stratford-upon-Avon is located in Alveston.

Alveston was the home of the playwright J B Priestley (and his wife Jacquetta Hawkes) in his later years, who lived at Kissing Tree House in the village. The house was called Avonmore in the 1901 census and his secretary lived in Avonmore Cottage which is still there in Kissing Tree Lane.
