Alyssa Erin Beckerman (born January 23, 1981 in Long Branch, New Jersey) is an American gymnast and student.

Biography

Beckerman was a member of the United States National Gymnastics Team from 1997 to 2000. She was named to the 1999 U.S. World Championships team but was unable to compete due to a wrist injury. She was named an alternate member of the 2000 US Olympic team, but was unable to compete because fellow alternate Tasha Schwikert (the other alternate member) was instead selected in place of an injured Morgan White. Beckerman competed on the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) intercollegiate gymnastics team from 2001 to 2003 while pursuing a degree in sociology.
