Amédée Louis Michel le Peletier, comte de Saint-Fargeau
Amédée Louis Michel le Peletier, comte de Saint-Fargeau (October 9, 1770 – August 23, 1845), also spelled Lepeletier or Lepelletier, was a French entomologist, and specialist in the Hymenoptera. In particular, he was responsible for naming several different bee species, including Xylocopa micans and Schwarziana quadripunctata.
From the year of 1833 until his death, he served as president of the Société entomologique de France.
