"Am I Dreaming" is a song from Dominican American recording artist Kat DeLuna's debut studio album 9 Lives. It was slated to be released as the second US single off the album, but was shelved in favor of "Run the Show."

The song received some minor airplay in France, with an unreleased music video shot in the Dominican Republic and leaked on YouTube in January 2009. The official remix features R&B singer, Akon.

"Am I Dreaming" was produced by RedOne. The song, which follows "Whine Up" on 9 Lives, features bachata, a popular Dominican guitar-driven variation of romantic music.

Music Video

A video for the single has been shot in the Zona Colonial in Santo Domingo, the singer's Caribbean hometown. "I'm dancing bachata in it," DeLuna revealed. "I wanna show people how to dance bachata." The video was shot in the Dominican Republic and it shows her singing the song with several backing dancers through the street of a China town. Quick stroll of her on-bed and by-swimming pool is also viewed during the video set.
