Aman Dhaliwal (born 24 July 1986) is an Indian model-turned-actor, who works in Punjabi cinema, where he is known as action hero. He belongs to a small rural town, Mansa, Punjab. Best known for his changing looks with each role,[1] he has worked in Bollywood, Pollywood, Pakistani and Telugu movies including Big Brother (Bollywood, 2007) Jodhaa Akbar(Bollywood,2008), Coffee House (Bollywood,2009), Virsa(Pakistani, 2010), Ik Kudi Punjab Di (Punjabi Cinema, 2010), Khaleja (Telugu, 2010), Indian Police (Telugu, 2011)and Ajj De Ranjhe (Punjabi Cinema,2012).[2][3]

Early life and background

Aman Dhaliwal was born to teacher parents, Mithu Singh Kahneke as his father and Gurtej Kaur Dhaliwal as his mother. He spent his life in Mansa, a small rural town of Punjab, India. He received Bachelors in radiology and Masters in Hospital administration from a Medical college in Delhi, India.

Acting career

Aman Dhaliwal was discovered by an Modeling agent in a hair saloon in Delhi. He started his modeling career from songs Jaan Jaan by Balkar Sidhu and Jogiya by Romey Gill (2003). His acting career started from Jodha Akbar under the direction of Ashutosh gowarikar. Dhaliwal has worked under variety of directors including Gurbir Grewal, Pankaj Batra and Manmohan Singh/Manji. Some of the work done by Dhaliwal includes Virsa, Ik Kudi Punjab di, Coffee House,[4] Jodhaa Akbar, Khaleja, The man, Big Brother, Ajj de Ranjhe & Jatt Boys- Putt Jattan de.
