Amanah
Not to be confused with Amanah (Administrative subdivision).
- Amanah (Arabic: أمانة), in the closest literal English translation, means fulfilling or upholding trusts.
- Al-Amanah or "The Trust" has a broader Islamic meaning. It is the moral responsibility of fulfilling one's obligations due to Allah and fulfilling one's obligations due to Allah's slaves (other people). It also means "free will."[1]
- Angkatan Amanah Merdeka (Amanah) or Independence Trust Forces is a Malaysian Non-Government Organisation founded by Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah.
- Parti Amanah Negara (AMANAH) or National Trust Party is a Malaysian political party advocating Political Islam.
