Amaresh Roy Chowdhury (born 1928) is a Bangladeshi classical vocalist.[1] He was awarded Ekushey Padak in 2016 by the Government of Bangladesh for his contribution to classical music.[2]
Early life
Chowdhury learnt classical music from classical vocalists -- Sudhir Lal Chakrabarty, Harihar Shukla and Tarapada Chakrabarty.
