Amblyptilia epotis is a moth of the Pterophoridae family that is found in New Zealand.

The wingspan is about 25 millimetres (0.98 in). The head is white and the Palpi are greyish-ochreous sprinkled with dark fuscous, white above. The antennae are grey and the thorax is whitish sprinkled with brownish-ochreous. The abdomen is white, partially suffused with pale brownish-ochreous except towards the base. The forewings are pale brownish-ochreous densely irrorated with white. The hindwings are pale fuscous.[2]
