Amchit Club (Arabic: نادي عمشيت Nadi Amchit‎) is a Lebanese multi-sports club best known for its basketball team now competing in the Lebanese Basketball League Div A for the 2012-13 season^[1]

During the 2014-15 FLB div.A season Amchit Club's basketball team was part of Byblos Club who's playing under the name of UBA which stands for 'Union Byblos Amchit' team due to sponsorship and legal reasons.

As of 2016 the club is playing in the Lebanese second division under Amchit Club name.

Description

Amchit Club was founded in 1955 and has a long history of achievements in sports, cultural and social activities.

Today, it is still one of Lebanon's most active clubs. The latest achievement was reaching the 1st division basketball league in Lebanon with a record-breaking result of 21 wins and 0 losses with the club competing in the 2012-2013 season against the big teams.

Besides the various sports schools for all age groups (basketball, soccer, table tennis...), the club offers many artistic and intellectual training programs (acting classes, dancing classes, language schools) and organizes many social events every year.

Presided by architect Antoine Younan and supported by Dr. Charbel Sleiman and a group of board members, the club worked in the last 2 years to renovate the stadium, form a professional basketball team and grow at all levels.
