The Johnston's river frog or Tshiromo frog (Amietia johnstoni) is a species of frog in the Pyxicephalidae family. It is endemic to Malawi.
Its natural habitats are tropical moist montane forests, high-altitude grassland, and rivers. It is threatened by habitat loss.
