Amppipal is a small village in the Amppipal VDC ward no.8 of the Gorkha District of Nepal.[1] This village is in minutes from Liglig which is assumed to be the origin of unification of Nepal. This village contains a hospital originally operated by United Mission to Nepal, built in 1969. It is also a birthplace of many technocrats in Nepal. Devkota is one of prominent surname of people living in the village. It is close to Aanppipal (VDC).
