Amuru is a town in Horo Guduru Welega Zone, in the Oromia Region of Ethiopia. It is the woreda (a district) that is known for its production of teff, barely, maize and other cereal crops.

Amuru is located approximately 392 km northwest of Addis Ababa, in Horo Guduru Wollega Zone.
